Beginners Boxing/kickboxing sessions are designed to allow beginners to do modified steps and easily keep up with more advanced students. There is plenty of bag and mitt work to challenge every skill level. Yes, cardio-kickboxing is safe. The class will start with a complete warm-up sequence to prepare your body for more vigorous activity. Stretching will follow, to get your muscles ready for the extensive range of motion that you use during a class. After the class, the instructor will lead you in "cool down" exercises and stretches designed to gradually return your body to normal and recuperate before you leave class.
